With apologies to Danny De Vito

One of the better examples of repartee came from Danny De Vito in the film “War of the Roses”. “What do you call five hundred lawyers at the bottom of the ocean ?” “A very good start”. I thought of that exchange this afternoon when I received an email reminding me that I will be on a stall at the Legal Careers Fair at Melbourne Convention Centre one afternoon next week. I attended the fair two years ago. Hundreds and hundreds of final year law students turn up to visit stalls staffed by Melbourne’s major law firms who recruit aggressively. I’ll be making law students aware of what Later Lawyers’ Network has to offer.
